SOUND FAMILIAR?
When life is moving faster than you can catch up
Something has shifted, or is about to. Maybe you chose it and expected to feel excited, but mostly feel unsettled. Maybe it happened to you, and you're still finding your bearings. Or maybe you're at a crossroads, going back and forth, unable to tell which direction is really yours.
Transitions can change routines, relationships, finances and even how we see ourselves. Therapy offers a steady place to reflect as you move through change, and to make decisions from a clearer, more grounded place.

WHAT BRINGS PEOPLE IN
Transitions that often bring people to therapy
What feels significant to you is what matters. People often reach out around:
Work & career
Starting, changing or leaving a career, or a major shift at work.
Home & relationships
Moving, or a relationship beginning, deepening or ending.
Family roles
Becoming a caregiver, or changes in family roles and responsibilities.
Milestones & health
Finishing school, retiring, reaching a reflective age, or a change in health.
HOW CHANGE CAN FEEL
Unsettled, stuck, or both
Even positive change involves loss: of the familiar, of an old version of yourself, of routines that held things together. It's common to feel grief, doubt or restlessness alongside excitement, and to wonder why you aren't happier.
When a big decision is in front of you, it can feel as if everything depends on getting it right. Often the problem isn't a lack of information, but losing touch with your own sense of what you want under other people's expectations and the fear of regret.
"You remain the driver of your bus – and that's a powerful place to be."
OUR APPROACH
How therapy can help during a transition
Therapy may help you:
Make sense of mixed feelings about change, including loss and uncertainty
Clarify your values and priorities as circumstances shift.
Walk through a decision with less pressure and more clarity.
Strengthen trust in your own judgement.
Adjust to a new role, routine, or sense of identity.
Take small, concrete steps forward while things are still unsettled.
Some people come for a few months while they navigate one change; others use a transition as a chance to look at longer-standing patterns. Both are welcome.
